Public speaking courses are essential if you want to have that confident sales delivery ! A few people seem totally relaxed and confident when they’re presenting to crowd. These folks are at ease, make people laugh, and the crowd loves what they say. They know all the best Public speaking topics and how to relate to their attendees. …While you can’t even remember the reason that you are standing in front of the audience… your legs shaking, hands sweaty, your mouth drier than a desert in a drought, You can’t speak clearly, trip over your words, and seem very ill at ease. You feel like a rabbit caught in the headlights… frozen petrifiedby public speaking fear. What do these “naturals” know that you don’t?

It was 2001

In a room of 25′000 contestants from over a dozen countries, a man stalked to the speaker’s platform. The room was electric with tension waiting for him to begin speaking. And after a couple of seconds, he began his 8 minute speech that would secure the title of that year’s Championship of Public Speaking. He was a master. He could deliver the most interesting and entertaining presentation. And he Instinctively knew to make people laugh and gain trust.

There was magic in the air

The man was Darren La Croix. Public speaking never came naturally to him. As a youngster, he aspired to being a comic. The way he tells it however, , he “didn’t have a funny bone in his body”. And his peers and parents were unanimous that he was about as funny as getting the measles. And yet, he launched into a career as a comedian. In April 1992, he had his comedy debut which turned out to be…

an absolute disaster….

He was heckled off the stage. He was as funny as a dose of hives. And he didn’t know how to write a delivery for an audience. How then, did Darren, against all odds, achieve the title of  world public speaking champion, a full-time speaker and stand up comic? What was the secret that allowed him, 9 years after he was booed off the stage, to deliver a presentation that won him the title? His secret was to engage with his audience so that they were held spellbound…

A secret he used

to create anticipation  and laughter to all that were gathered… A secret he utilised to stop his stage fright, eliminate   tension and stress and  to get over his public speaking fear. A way to get through to his audience like no one before… A power that changed the lives of others when they listened to him… In summary, a secret that allowed him to be crowned the 2001 World Champion of Public Speaking.

How did he do it?

Darren LaCroix once remarked: “The shortest distance between two people is laughter”. Once you get people to see the funny side of things, you captivate them with your story. They like and trust you. And you make your presentation that is enjoyable and interesting. Darren LaCroix is the evidence that anyone can learn anything, even giving an inspiring presentation. He wasn’t born with the ability to enthrall an audience just by talking. But Darren copied the methods of the masters…

you don’t have to be born a brilliant presenter either….

You can learn the same way that Darren did

And in the same way that Darren did, you then need to hone what you’ve learned at every available moment. If it is possible for Darren it’s possible for you too. Just imagine… how confident you are going to be when you do your presentation because

You will have learned from THE professional !

Imagine your audience held in rapture by your words… You know how to inspire your listeners… You are confident and happy, you have fun while you complete your speech with a bang (and your audience gives you thunderous applause at the end) Find out what Darren learned so that you, can also, get applause every time you finish a presentation. This public speaking courses will show you how. And who better to learn from than a world champion of public speaking?
